"Dotty" Boudreaux Hays has been a Realtor since 2001. After serving in leadership positions in Health Care and Human Resources management, Dotty began investing in Real Estate in the mountains of North Georgia and Western North Carolina. She was so pleased with the lifestyle and financial results achieved through Real Estate investing; she sold her Staffing Company in Savannah, GA, and moved to the mountains to help other people achieve similar goals.
Since becoming a Realtor, Dotty has achieved Broker Status in Georgia and North Carolina. She has served as President of the Appalachian Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors, facilitates New Realtor Orientation, and teaches “Ethics in Real Estate” for all new agents moving into the Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors. She is a certified “Mentor” for “100 Days to Greatness”, a three month training program for new and experienced agents, enabling participants to build successful Real Estate Practices.
Dotty believes that she is fortunate to live and work in the mountains and is committed to give back in appropriate ways on a personal and professional basis. She has served as President of The Rotary Club of Blue Ridge and currently serves as a Trustee for the Georgia Rotary Student Program, a cultural exchange for college students from foreign countries. She was recognized by the Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors with “The Community Involvement Award” for 2004, and was a nominee for “Realtor of the Year” in 2005.
Increasing competence in her profession is a priority for Dotty. She is one of four Realtors in the Mountain Lakes Board to hold the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) Designation, is certified as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), and will soon complete the requirements for the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation. Dotty was selected as one of 400 Realtors out of 25,000 to participate in a “Peak Performers” event in Bermuda in 2006.
